Penquin racing by
As it is school holidays, we decided to visit Taronga Zoo in Sydney today as it was supposed to be much cooler than the last few days. We checked the weather forecast and it stated that there was a small chance of showers. It began to lightly rain on the way into the city and although at one stage it looked like it might clear up, it rained steadily all day. We wanted to see the new Tiger exhibition, but when we arrived at the exhibition we saw that there was a 10 to 15 minute wait and as it was raining quite heavily by then, we decided to leave it for another day and made our way home.
I used my plastic poncho to try and keep my camera gear dry, so I ended up looking like a drowned rat LOL.
This little penquin kept swimming madly past where I was standing (in the rain).
