The robot
When my brother passed away, I suffered chest pains and as a result I had to visit a heart specialist. All of my tests have come back okay, but he recommended that I undergo a sleep study to rule out sleep apnea. Last night I had to wear this contraption for the sleep study. My daughter and granddaughter were supposed to come over for dinner, but I messaged my daughter to say that I looked like a monster and maybe it was better if Ella didn't see me looking like this.
It started out well - I fell asleep without much trouble, but the machine was timed to come on at 11.30 p.m. and when it did it began flashing with a bright green light which woke me with a start. I then couldn't go back to sleep and every time I turned over in bed it began flashing green again. I had to get up at around 3 a.m. to go to the bathroom and the machine in the middle of my chest dropped out of the holder and I struggled to get it back on. I had wires attached to my chin and twice one came off and I found it on my neck. To say that the sleep study didn't go well is an understatement LOL.
