This describes my brother at the moment. We spoke to the doctor this morning and he is still not keen to give him codeine based pain killers only Panadol. They gave him something stronger last night and he said he slept like a baby all night, so obviously he needs them. Tonight he is going to give him a placebo, but if he has a bad night I won't be happy. On top of everything else, we have been told that he has tested positive to Golden Staph. You go to hospital to hopefully get better and you come out worse.
Update: The orthopaedic specialist came in to see my brother and wasn't happy about him beingtaken off medication - he is going to try some new pain killers on him which shouldn't make him too drowsy
