Travelling around the UK
In six months time we will be in the UK doing one of my favourite things - travelling around the UK. This is the route we will be taking - it looks like someone has tipped a bowl of spaghetti on the map LOL. Peter is a lover of English sporting rifles,shotguns and history and would like to visit some arms fairs while we are there, so we have had to arrange our travels around four fairs and auctions he will be visiting and this is the result. The accommodation is mostly booked and now all we have to do is wait for the 20th August when we fly out from Sydney.
I have spoken to my son about the cyclone. It was downgraded before it reached Hervey Bay thankfully, but still did a bit of damage in the area. It was worse further up north and now all down the coast is experiencing flooding - the effects of which will last for a few weeks I suppose. He said Hervey Bay didn't get as much rain as other areas, but the winds were pretty bad.
