Duc d’Orléans
Statue équestre du Duc d’Orléans - Equestrian statue of the Duke of Orleans. The statue of Ferdinand Philippe, Duke of Orléans (1810-1842), son of King Louis Philippe, was created by Italian sculptor Carlo Marochetti between 1842 and 1844. Displayed initially in Algiers, the statue was returned to France in 1963. Installed at its present traffic circle location in 1981.
