Although similar to the work of Dionicio Rodriquez, a local expert has informed me that it is the work of another comtempory, not the work of Rodriguez himself, nor Maximo Cortes, or his son, Carlos. It is nonetheless, a refreshing and unusual change from the typical low boundary walls (otherwise known as cradles) found throughout one of the city's oldest cemeteries.
