The Shooting Gallery Massacre
February, 2217: With tensions rising after a contentious election of the next Terran president, opposition forces obtained a mobile suit and ambushed the the new president's chief adviser and his armored motorcade.
In what is now known as the 'Shooting Gallery Massacre', the rebels gunned down two elite squads of armored troops and disabled the presidential adviser's limousine.
However, due to the selfless actions of the presidential security team and the attached armored troops, the chief adviser was whisked away to safety.
These actions triggered a series of events which led to a new Terran Civil War.
I should note I suck at dioramas and action scenes, but I enjoyed making this one. I'll probably re-purpose it again eventually. It was originally built for a BrickCon 2015 layout that never got off the ground, then was re-tooled and upgraded heavily for BrickCon 2016. Got as far as registering and even bringing it to con, but bumped it for space at the last second (with no regrets, it's boring AF)
