ZERO-G WUNDERKAMMER - (DETAIL) "ABOUT TIME"
A lot of the individual pictures I used to 'populate' the Zero-G Wunderkammer costumes' individual 'boxes', I lifted from my Flickr account, as they already fit the 'Stay Curious' Radiothon theme.
I also wanted to take some new pictures, with one focus being collections of action figures tied to various facets of genre sciencin'.
Doctor Who was obviously a 'go-to' subject, and as I had action figures of most of the television incarnations of the characters I thought they'd make a good group. The latest Doctor, Jodie Whittaker, I've yet to obtain, so settled for just dropping a pre-release piccy in.
It was a quick shoot, and I only noticed later that I'd swapped two of the Doctors' 'chronological' incarnations around in the line-up. No worries, it wasn't a parameter I set myself to begin with! It's just that I pulled them mostly all out a box set at the same time.
Mind you, they might have done it themselves, when I wasn't looking....
To tie the whole Wunderkammer display together, I adopted similar colours for the pictures' title blocks and frames. I wasn't concerned with sweating the resolution of some of these pictures either, as I knew what they would like when printed out at A-4 size. Normally, I'm a bit more particular, but the project didn't call for it.
