IRON SPAM - "TALK TO THE REPULSOR HAMS!!!"
(DELICIOUS LARGE)
IRON SPAM - EVEN MORE INVINCIBLE!!! (NOW WITH 50% MORE IRON !!!)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After scratchbuilding Iron Zombie and Iron M & M I was thinking about assorted puns that might be fun to make on Iron Man.
Tin Cans, Iron Cans...and then, in one swell 'foop' my brain stumbled across a can of Spam.
The faceplate, arms and legs are made from Supersculpey, and the custom label I whipped up in Photoshop.
Actually, the label is very elaborate in itself, and I'll post that as well eventually.
I wanted a kitchen type setting for the background, including some stainless steel, glass and benchtop elements so I could get some nice reflected highlights. It's only lit with natural daylight and the stovehood's built in light.
I've got a couple of other ideas for this armour that I think will tickle Tony Stark's fancy!
Okay, this photoset is obviously going to attract a lot of Monty Python comments based on their famous Spam comedy sketch so for the unenlightened here's an explanatory link....
