Well-Remembered

A small sapling arches low into an autumn leaf-covered path between glittering golden poplars at the now-defunct Boardman Tree Farm, near Boardman, Oregon.

Plantings by human hands surely don't exceed the beauties of natural forests in general, but this vast ordered grove was one of the most compelling, and fun to photograph, places I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. In my ongoing meanders through my old photo files, I keep finding myself happily drawn back to shots like this one from my wanderings in the dappled light among these stately aligned beauties.

Thanks for viewing.
