Zhoubi Star: CP

So named to relate to Oschene's Zhoubi Bowl... (diagrams for that found here: origami.oschene.com/archives/2006/08/05/zhoubi-bowl/)

There are creases in this tessellation that are folded at the slope of 1/7... Reason why? Well, because the difference between the slope of 1/2 and the slope of 1/3 is apparently 1/7... (easy to demonstrate via graph-paper)...

This up-close view of the CP for one star makes it easier to see where the folds are going.

The blue-lines that run from the center square to the tips of the star have a slope of 1/7 and line up with each other in pairs, so they aren't hard to do.

The red lines next to them are much more difficult... They need to be parallel to the matching blue lines... When I folded the full tessellation of these, I just eye-balled them.

I was amazed to find out that the small square in the center is exactly a 1 by 1 square. Also, It twists EXACTLY the right amount to line up with the back-dropped grid. Quite a satisfying "coincidence".

I included the plain open-backed square twist on the right to show how the star has the same exiting-pleat pattern. This implies that you can pop these stars into other tessellations that use these square twists (if there is enough extra length in the pleats).
