Hook Norton Font Figure

This figure is on the famous font at Hook Norton along with a Lion, Saggitarius, Adam holding a rake and Eve. Very hard to determine what this figure is suppoed to represent. It is however duplicated elsewhere at least once so would seem to have meaning of some sort. The hairstyle is also duplicated on a capital figure at Llanbadarn Fawr in mid Wales.
