this is 2 of 12 for me.
i wanted this month's to be a reflection of the lenten season. the design is focused around the latin word paenitentia, which means repentance. while designing this i read the meaning of repenting in "this beautiful mess" by rick mckinley. he said repenting is saying to God: "i'm blind. i don't see, but i want to. please show me your heart in everything."
that really struck me. repentance isn't a depressing thing. its sorrowful, but it also leads to new beginnings and new life. repentance is the first step in seeing God's kingdom.
