panntastic
Easter, May 2008 - Reykjavik
Easter lunch was a combination of traditional foods from Iceland and the US. Hofi made Icelandic sweet potatoes, boiled white potates covered with carmelized sugar. I brought the fixin's from home to make deviled eggs and egg salad, something Hofi and her family had never tried before. I think she and boys were put off by the dill relish, not available in Iceland, but Kiddi seemed to like it.
