epic bride

Model: Melanie J

Hair / Makeup / assistant: Danielle Hampton

I scheduled a bridal shoot near Stockon Beach, NSW (australia) while Im up here on 'holidays'.

Here is one from the shoot yesterday. I was playing around with using a B+W circular polarizer and found a few things out. The CP works well in natural light. But when you bring the flash in, and you get shots up close the skin looks horribly oily and shiny when the light is polarized.

This shot I used the Polarizer which helped me enrich the sky a little.

Pack was powered around 5.0 from memory? (out of a total of 7.5)

See the behind-the-scenes link above for light placement.

My 5D2 was new, as my other one looks stuffed so thankfully I have no dust spots when shooting this closed down.
