Cosmic Ocean

There are few more humbling experiences than looking up at the night sky. It's easy to stare up at the enveloping vastness and feel small and wonder about your place in it all. There is still so much to learn about what is out there and so much that it can teach us about ourselves. This image taken at the coastal village of Toco reminds me of Carl Sagan's quote referring to the universe as a cosmic ocean "Recently, we've waded a little way out, maybe ankle deep, and the water seems inviting. The ocean calls."
