TS Playfair
The Tall Ship Playfair entering the Burlington Ship Canal headed for Hamilton Harbour.
Launched in 1973 in Kingston, Ontario, the TS Playfair was built for the charitable organization, Toronto Brigantine Inc. This program’s founding tenants are to aid youth 13 to 18 in the development of leadership, discipline and citizenship within the marine community. In the summertime Playfair can be found sailing all over the Great Lakes alongside her sister ship, the Pathfinder. Length is 22m (72 ft.) and height of rig above waterline 18m (59 ft.).
