Station to Station to Station

After being given a heads-up that the train was passing through Berwyn, I hightailed it to the Main Street station to see the Station to Station train on its way from one station to another station via Union Station. A father and son walked up to the tracks when the gates lowered, catching a glimpse of the special train.

 

The train's official event in Chicago took place on Tuesday the 10th, after which it traveled to St. Paul for that city's event. Sticking to Amtrak routes, it headed back east on the 13th to Chicago before turning west on the 14th to travel all the way to Santa Fe, NM for its next "Happening." I guess the planners couldn't work out an event for Kansas City or any of the other cities along the way.
