White kitchen + mod-traditional mix: Norman Cherner chairs + farm table + cottage style
Love the light/dark contrast—and the fabulous mid-century Norman Cherner chairs—in this Los Angeles bungalow kitchen designed by Cristine Gillespie. She owns the house, too—lucky her!
Gillespie paired a burnished antique farm table with the Cherner plywood chairs, a classic 1958 design (check out www.chernerchair.com). The Viking dishwasher is the only thing I would do differently—I’d go for white over stainless steel. But who wants to nit-pick?
