Saturn 19/06/17 (v2)

Taken five days after opposition, this is a version of the previous image with different processing - the C ring shows up better in this version. Saturn was just 20° above the horizon, and that it's possible to get images as clear as this is a demonstration of the power of a very fast camera (I had about 120 frames/s) and use of an atmospheric dispersion corrector (ADC).

 

Nexstar 6SE + 2x Barlow and ADC. ZWO ASI224MC camera.

 

Saturn was magnitude 0.02 with a diameter of 18.3".
