Illinois Terminal suburban car 415 (St Louis 1924 order 1324) @ Illinois Railway Museum, Union IL 7-04-90
This car was built for the Illinois Valley Division of IT (otherwise known as Chicago & Illinois Valley) which ran from Joliet to Princeton, as their #64. When the IVDIV ended operation in 1934, 64 was rebuilt as a double-ended car, the toilet was removed, and it was transferred to St Louis-Granite City suburban service. After IT ended passenger service, 415 was aquired by IRM and became the first car to operate at Union. For a long time it was a fixture of their operation.
