Epson V700 with VueScan, Raw Therapee edit
Another in the same park as the sun was waning. Metered (spot) on the centered leaf at either middle grey or -1 stops. It was hard to get the contrast right on this one. It felt like it needed to retain shadow detail to keep it from feeling harsh, but I wanted to keep the punch of the original slide. This is a good balance (at least, on my monitor it is).
The GW690III is really growing on me as I do these scans. The focus is dead accurate, and I like my compositions better with it. Perhaps it's the wide angle lens that I like - who knows? It's also good that there are only 8 shots per roll. That makes one very selective.
