Immediately after the Prime Minister authorized Operation Heavy Hammer, Lieutenant Commander Whitmore and his team deployed to Ligeria.
The team joined a Combined Special Operations Task Force, led by the United States, that was already hunting Hadir Sulaman and Omar Hassan, the individuals orchestrating attacks in Ligeria. Hassan, as Sulaman's lieutenant, is a bomb maker responsible for manufacturing IEDs.
Upon arrival, LCdr Whitmore was greeted by a familiar face from CAG. He and his team also received a briefing from the Task Force Commander on the overall situation in Ligeria.
