Operation Hidden Hammer (51)
To prevent insurgents to move south and infiltrate the local population where they can launch attacks, the Coalition authorized the Task Force to conduct operations to capture high-value individuals and fighters. General Miller tasked a hand-picked team for this mission.
The team launched multiple raids and captured several HVIs for several weeks. Due to the speed of the team's response time, they were able to catch the insurgent fighters completely by surprise while they were asleep and were captured without resistance.
In response, insurgent fighters would instead drive straight south in the Great Desert. Adapting to the enemies’ changing tactics, the team launched heliborne vehicle interdiction to capture these fighters.
