Team 7 returned back to theater as part of their regular rotation with the Combined Anti-Terrorism Task Force (CATF) along with their allied partners. The VCAB (Victoria, Canada, America, Britain) nations contributed to the majority of the task force's operators. General Wayne Miller from the United States was the task force commander during this rotation.
Owen, an intelligence officer from the Victorian Intelligence Service, provided a briefing at the beginning of the rotation. The task force's primary focus was to ascertain the whereabouts of Pale Horse, A Russian nuclear scientist who was assisting the terror group Al-Asad to build a dirty bomb. Owen also briefed the task force that a Russian Alpha Group has launched a series of raids searching for Pale Horse.
Although there was a sense of urgency for the TF to locate Pale Horse with a Russian Alpha Group hot on his trail, the host nation has imposed strict ROE due to the presence of Russian military in the region. The Host Nation has ordered the TF to avoid any direct contact with Russian units fearing an escalation in tension. As a result, each raid was heavily vetted with multiple layers of approval process. While waiting for approval between raids, the teams in the task force found ways to kill the time.
