Intelligence uncovered a weapons exchange between the financier Cerium and the arms dealer Cobalt, where the terrorist cell responsible for the oil platform attack also surfaced. A team from the Special Mission Unit was tasked to kill/capture those at the exchange.
The team took advantage of the heavy foliage and achieved the element of surprise. They sucessfully captured Cerium, Cobalt, as well as the terrorist cell.
After destroying the weapons and munitions recovered at the scene, the special ops team immediately moved the high value individuals (HVIs) to the helicopter landing zone. An MV-22 arrived and extracted the team and the captives.
Interrogation of the HVIs later revealed that the terrorist cell was planning and organizing future attacks. The mission was deemed a success as the team was able to dismantle the entire terrorist network and prevent future attacks.
