Emerson Park Halt 1979 1

Emerson Park is the intermediate station on the Romford-Upminster branch, now electrified. Back in 1979 it was Emerson Park Halt and was served by DMUs, in this case a 2-car Cravens unit, which has attracted some custom on this Saturday afternoon.

 

Note the absence of tail lights. But then all there is behind the train is plain line and a set of buffer stops.
