Fabulous Foden

This lovely Foden four-wheel tipper truck (a 1960 KE4/14 I gather) was patrolling the streets of Hackney Wick along with the RLHs. It has a distinctive Foden two-stroke diesel engine, either an FD.4 (my guess) or an FD.6.

 

I was attracted to these as a kid by the beautifully curvy shape of the cab and they look wonderful today. Great to see it out and about.
