Country bus in the city
On the day of a Tube strike, supplementing regular evening rush hour buses on route 29 is RT 1700, one of my favourites and an old friend from its days at Harlow on the 339 (it carries an HA garage code now). With some nice-looking blinds, it is seen at Trafalgar Square prior to commencing a journey to Holloway (Nags Head).
Note the painted front wheel trim and the disc trim at the rear - nice touches and just as they used to be.
