How it used to be - well, nearly 40 years ago anyway, and seen from the platform of York Road.
Note the signal box has gone. Nevertheless, or perhaps because of that, there is plenty to see: A class 31 and a 'Deltic' on the left, a class 31 on the re-fuelling point far right, those lines that curved right round towards St Pancras station (the roof of which can be seen in the background). And framed by the signal gantries, a Cravens DMU emerging from the Hotel Curve platform with, I think, a morning empty stock working from Moorgate..
