Commander Turtles
WWB/BFVA Loot and Overview
To start off, the past two weeks have been amazing! The first event WWBCT was a great time, an event that wound up being smaller than what I had imagined. I liked the event as it was small and intimate. By intimate, I mean, you could talk to everyone and still not miss something that was going on. I got to see some friends that I talk to all year long and we had brought the first, smaller part of Ramadi together. The collab turned out great for the small event, where we also got an award for "Most iconic scene" which we were honored to receive. At the event, I was able to see some people like Will, Dan and Lando as well as meeting some other members of the brickmania crew as they would not be at the next week's convention. The best person I met during the whole trip had to be Nikita, a friend I've made for life. A great guy all around and a fucking alpha full blood.
Within the next few days we just came back down to Baltimore, and hung out until Brickfair.
I'm not going to write a whole lot about Brickfair, not about the builds but the great times I had with friends. The only thing about the builds is that we were nominated for best military and lost by only five votes. We also got interviewed by Beyond The Brick. The biggest highlights were; having Gage being able to attend, the Nasheed mixed with Skrillex, not red's apple ale or jungle juice, cards against humanity and Codey and Nikita trying to fight eachother over a blanket. Anyhow, this year is in the books and was overal great!
Thanks too:
