on the way down from the lookout point over gunung bromo heading back towards Cemoro Lawang in east java. 2:30am start to walk to the top for sunrise, which is so massively overated (particular with the crowds on a weekend). my advice... you're much better off going along at the end of the day to better appreciate the view without getting pushed and elbowed the whole time!

 

decisions, decisions. i like this one. have raw copy, the details are slightly better and i like the prominance of the distant mountains. however the 'missing' stuff on the right irks me a bit. had i been thinking at the time would have made an effort with getting multiple images for stitching but was so knackered at the time everything i took at this point were just snapshots.
