reconnecting

it has been a busy holiday (we have been painting my mums place while she is in India). not as relaxing as one would hope and one little guy who is really *challenging* these days. it all seems to go in waves but i always search to find a way to reconnect. last night we baked a cake after supper and had it with tea. that is what did it for us - a simple but lovely evening spent together where we all had a great time (though the babe was fast asleep since chocolate cake + baby = crazy).
