"I have been witness to a lot of change in the valley over 20 years, and without nostalgia I can say that there is a now a hostile late night edge to it all that threatens to erase what it was and a part of who we are.
All urban environments grow, mature and decay and that is a critical part of the success of a place and as in life, its richness and diversity, but lock downs, glass bans, police enforcement and increased government paternalism, without public toilets, transport and the responsible service of alcohol, will only exacerbate the problem, avoid culpability, and fawn to private interest and the howling mob.
So save your outrage for that which is important, but ask yourself what are you going to do?"
