Aftermath

The crowd gathers around the finish line shortly after the finish of Stage 3 of the 2011 Tour Down Under.

 

I read a newspaper report that Mark Cavendish, who rode this stage injured and finished well back, had to ride through public traffic and this crowd to finish the stage.
