Collar Studs

Not absolutely sure, but these are potentially coller studs from yesteryear. Used to attach a VERY heavily starched collar (made rom linen or cardboard) to the collarless shirts you often see in tintypes. Could also be cuff links but the little button is so small a shirt cuff keeps on coming undone when used in this way.
