I Can't See The Forest For The Trees

Been running on empty in this rat race,

Like trying my damnest to understand the reason,

Is why we live in a vacuum of disgrace

Notice we live life like animals committing treason.

Donning masks and disguising our face

 

Tell me, just who are we trying to appease there son?

Oh and remove that faux camouflage ,

 

And open up your eyes and you can plainly see

Life is a forest, we are the trees-it's no mirage

Let's be aware the foliage is but you and me.
