Bald Eagle on the Hunt

Bald Eagles have returned to Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge and have made it their home. This one was in a tree, staying ever aware of the goings on below, and ready to take advantage of a wayward duck or rodent. It appears this group of Bald Eagles has decided to stay in this area as we are now seeing them and their offspring every year.
