Snow Geese in Flight

During our drive through the Sacramento National Wildlife auto tour we passed a large pond housing hundreds of Snow Geese. As we passed many of the Geese took off in front of us. I was a marvel to see so many of these beautiful white and black geese against the bright blue sky. Very localized, but abundant where they occur, Snow Geese typically are seen in large numbers or not at all.
