Josef Albers, Homage to a Square
Sometimes I give the impression that I am not fond of modern art. This is not true. I am not fond of repetitious uninteresting modern art devoid of a soul. Albers painted the same image for quite a long time using different color breaks, sizes and mediums. What the hell was he thinking and why should we care?
