A Photographers Regret

Okay, I know that this isn't about photography.....but this statue reminds me of times that I've failed to reset my exposure or missed adjusting the aperture after moving from a low-light situation into a well-lit environment. It expresses all those feelings you have when you review your shots and you discover that there was a huge drop of water on your lens....and naturally you cannot revisit the site....because it is now beyond that possibility due to distance or time. It speaks to the times when you have hiked 5 miles to photograph a waterfall...only to discover you left behind your ND filter. This statue seems to express all that can go wrong when we choose to become photographers. In reality, this is a statue in Paris. I have no recall as to it's location or real purpose or theme. I would love to lean more.....
