Clean Pakistan Islamabad

Islamabad Pakistan (23-9-2012) , the idea to Clean Pakistan was not to clean and paint on the walls , roofs , footpaths, physically, but metaphysically on the history of Pakistan against good and bad , against right and wrong , peace and war where Pakistan is passing through , at one point all the dark forces are standing to bring bad luck and ruin to Pakistan and at one point we all are standing to paint the darkness and bring light to Pakistan so this thing does stop here , it needs continuous efforts. The message of the peace was also echoed tot the world about respect of the religions and faiths be it Islam , Christianity , Judaism , Hinduisms , Buddhism , and people such as “Sam Bacile” who’s evil act be strongly condemned and shill not cause rift among faiths and divide us which can end up in violence and killing .A solidarity was also shown with the people victimised during the protest and with Christian community in Pakistan and condemned the burning of the Church in the name of protest. Members of Civil society, youth groups and media all participated in the clean up Pakistan.

After all the mess that has been created due to the protests in the past few days, we thought its our duty as responsible citizens to clean up the mess (regardless of who created it). Lets all be peaceful, and show the world that REAL Pakistanis don’t believe in violence.

The idea was simple, just get out on the streets and roads, use whatever resources you can to clean up the mess created by these riots.

This is a national thing, and it would be great if people in every city of Pakistan join in!

Needless to say we have great respect for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and this just goes on to show that we follow his teachings about peace, cleanliness and forgiveness!

Also, it would be great if participants could bring some water/juice boxes for the policemen as well! They were beaten up during protests and several of them sustained injuries. A small token of our gratitude would go miles to show our appreciation of their bravery.

Along with that, if you want, you can bring handmade posters/banners regarding Islam, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his teaching of peace! :)
