This is Bo.....He was a Pen Pal. Pen Pal's are dogs that were rescued from being euthanized from shelters and brought together with inmates at San Quentin Penitentiary. I saw a program on Animal Planet about this.....it's an amazing program. The hard core prisoner's that have nothing but hatred for the world are brought together with these last chance dogs and a miracle happens.....For the first time in many of these inmates lives they experience unconditonal love.......which many have never had before.....They train these dogs for people to adopt and many become therapy dogs.Please check out this program at the Marin Humane Society.
