Thukla Climbers' Memorial

Above the village of Thukla, after a strenuous climb, there are a number of stone cairns and stupas dedicated to climbers who have died on Everest and the surrounding mountains. Cholatse (6440m) looked down on us through the clouds as we rested and explored the memorial.
