Detail of Victorian window in St James's church, Southrepps, in memory of several members of the Carter family. Not quite sure where the artist picked up the design for the extraordinary boat ; it certainly doesn't resemble any that would have been found at the time in Galillee ; more a kind of truncated Viking longship.
