Tethering ring
The last remaining tethering ring in the brick wall between Christchurch Park and St Margaret's churchyard. It was once one of a whole row of about a dozen similar rings, used for tethering horses in the heyday of the Mansion nearby. Apart from this solitary survivor, the rest have now vanished completely or merely left an imprint. See
