Bracket

Jacobean wall bracket supporting hourglass above the pulpit in St Andrew's church, Chelmondiston, Suffolk. One of the few survivors from the original church, this finely carved bracket shows the upper part of a fashionably dressed female, atop a face which could equally belong to a green man or a lion and , below this, a bunch of fruit.

Done
