Virgen del Carmen. La Paz. 1992

A grand procession in the square opposite the cathedral in La Paz, Bolivia on 16th July 1992. Attended by archbishop, church and military dignitaries and even El presidente himself, La Virgen del Carmen was proudly held high so that everyone in the huge crowd could see her, as assorted cavalry and marching bands passed round the square.
