Thomas Thurlow signature

Signature of sculptor Thomas Thurlow of Saxmundham on the memorial he made to local poet and clergyman, George Crabbe. Although a Suffolk man, Thurlow had trained in London and worked for some time at the London Marble Works, hence the quality of this piece in the church of St Peter & St Paul, Aldeburgh, Suffolk.
