Lead the way

Land is a valuble commodity in China. If it's not used for roads, industry or housing, it's farmed. This region was no different.

Our path led us to terraced farmlands that showed evidence of harvested millet spray (my finches loved the samples I provided them), mellons and gourds. I recovered one unharvested individual. "Let no vegetable be left behind!" I always say.

But we weren't looking for harvested farmland; we were looking for a way onto the Wall.

Chris found a way.
